coming back

 It's been more than a year and a lot of things happened, and I still feel like resurrecting this blog. So, briefly, previous July I eventually returned to Latvia, spontaneously enrolled on a textile design course in Academy of Arts and now I'm on my second year+ unlike in UK, education is for free, you just have to pass the competition.So it feels twice as great to be here. Here are some recent sketches and a couple of close-ups from figure studies from the academy, actually, I just enjoyed grasping the models character through their faces. Planning on updating regularly again, see you later. :)

I burned the bridges, so I draw

Not in the mood for telling much, except that this is a pretty hysteric, chaotic and insecure peiod of my life. I see no other exit than disappearing in drawing. I eat less, listen to my hometown radio(the one that plays good music) and smoke cigarretes (usually they have an effect of increasing my anxiety) which sets me in the right mood for doing nothing than drawing. What I really lack is connections and exposure so obviously it's a good idea to approach more people and companies.
